Heyyyyy cleaning my blog today.

After I discovered Facebook (see previous post), I totally forgot about my blog!

And I planned to write a post on the last day of 2009 too. 31st of December ar...... It's 20th of January today! Argh, Amy Fam Yiu Cai, you horribly terrible procrastinator!

Anyway, I'll blurb along till I feel this post is long enough to 敷衍 everyone. ^^

Okay, first, my life has been sucked away by MouseHunt, a Facebook application. It's sooo...... unexciting (yes, you read that right, UNEXCITING) compared to other action games but I'm still possesed by it. Haih, haih, haih.....

Secondly, I remember thinking in Melbourne -- after exams, before discovering Facebook -- to blog about my results when they're released. My results were released AGES ago, and yet..... haha...... didn't post it all. I did better than last semester! ^o^

Thirdly, and most importantly, the Taiwan people are coming back! The love of my life (ah... wait... ueekkkkkkk *vomit*) a.k.a. Pony Chai will land in Kuching in... ah.... *looking at watch* an hour or so.
YeeJia's come back a few days ago (17th of January) but I haven't contacted him yet. Another dear friend (YuLing) is coming back today too, if I remember correctly! ^^

Okay, my blog's clean enough for now. See ya later! Baking CNY cookies soon so my blog will be revived soon enough, hehe.

I remember when the Twillight movie came out. My fellow Kuchian female classmates were saying how good-looking Robert Pattinson is. "OMG，他很gentleman啊!"、"帅死~"、"去看，去看!你一定会迷上他的。"、"Oh, Edward..."。=.=

I haven't seen the first movie yet - I didn't even finish reading the first book properly - and I'm proud to say I'm one of those girls that haven't fallen under Robert Pattinson's spell yet. XD

My sister read all the twillight books from her friend and we've bought the 1st and 4th book so far. I read snippets from the final book eventhough I haven't read the second and third. I vaguely know how the story goes, hehe. So, I think watching New Moon should be okay. I won't be totally clueless.

I might watch New Moon. I might.... Then become a raving fan of Robert Pattinson. (O_o Oh, God forbid, please no.)

Hey all, just a quick note to bring you up-to-date.

1. Exams are here!
考掉Genetics (蛮难的...) 和Physics (吃草，吃饱饱) 了!
多三天就轮到Statistics。OMG，这科不知道要怎么死才好。比物理还惨啊~
接下来是Management，然后我就自由了!! Wooh~ 期待...

2. Statistics
超pek-chek这科，最显得就是统计学。别去想高中我们学得统计学---和大学的天差地远。上学期的Calculus，买了它的课本（secondhand: $80+），结果连碰一次都没有。这学期，大家都不打算买数学课本。谁知?? 哈哈。

3. 我的部落格发霉了
有点感动，今天回来看，竟然还蛮多人留言的^-^。我还以为自己的部落格早死了。谢谢啦，大家~ 考试完后必定回复你们的留言、念大家的部落格（好久没念大家的部落格了：要怪莫怪我，怪考试! =.=）。

You'll see a lady rotating clockwise/anticlockwise. Apparently she can turn in both directions, it depends on which side of the brain you are using at different moments.

If she's turning in the clockwise direction, you're using your right brain; if she's turning in the anti-clockwise direction, you're using the left brain. Some people can see her turning both ways, but some people can only see her turning one way.

At first, I could only see her rotating clockwise. I read some of the information beside her... when I looked back, she was rotating the other way. O_o Imagine that!

Now whenever I look at her, she turns clockwise then anti-clockwise, then clockwise.... back and forth, back and forth. I can't control when she changes though, she just does. It's really interesting.

I tried controlling her to change (apparently Max can...... sien..... zzzzz...... haha). I thought about logical, analytical stuff like "What made her do that?"/ "How does our brain work?"/ read the passages --- then talked to my sister/watched some youtube stuff to switch on my other side. It sort of works, haha. She really switches.

未來不明的我

今天陪姐姐來RMIT University的電腦室做功課，自己也帶了点東西來復習復習。這裡的電腦是用繁體字的，哈哈，不妨也學學看。

最近很煩惱明年要選的科目。2nd year 的兩個學期各只有三個科目：1個Core Subject、1個Selective Subject、1個Breadth Subject。

Core Subject是學校選的必修科目，所以不必擔心這一個；Breadth Subject是自己選和course無關的科目，如：French、Japanese、Music、Wine Tasting、Psychology、Finance、Accounting等... 很多就是了。想了好久。好不容易的，發現到蠻喜歡Management的，決定修到3rd year。

現在來了這個煩死人的Selective Subjects!! 必須從12個selectives選2個，1個學期1科。我們選的selectives牽連了3rd year major，因為是major的pre-requisites。

唉，我最不擅長做選擇的了，想東想西......或許是我沒主見，容易被其他人的選擇動搖；也許是我迷迷糊糊的，不知道自己到底要甚麼、人生目標是甚麼。

誰來給我一點點啓發呀......

今天拜六，來城市念書。搭火車到Melbourne Central，我和姐姐想喝果汁，於是去BOOST Juice買。

我：“Hi, a lemon crush please.”
女店員：“A lemon crush? Sure. What size？”
我：“Umm... medium please.”
女店員：“Sure. Can I have your name?”
我：“Amy.”
女店員(鍵入資料，看上來，微笑)：“Won't be long now, Emily.”

Emily????? 哈哈。是我發音不准、聲量太小? 不然就是她聽覺有問題，哈哈。

不久後，果汁打好了。另一個店員，看著單，拿著杯，叫：“Emily.”

這周已是Week 10了，再多兩個星期，我在大學的第一年就結束了! 然後就要考試了，怕怕...... 昨天考完物理小考，接下來的兩個星期沒甚麼考試或功課要交，就趁此機會掃一掃蜘蛛網。=)

Worst Day of my Life

今天一到学校，突然发现：忘了带lab coat。*￥#%@! 没有穿lab coat是不能进实验室的!还好我是union member，可以租一件。

OK，first crisis averted.

做实验：
因为下午有考试，我没有好好准备实验的pre-reading。结果做完实验时，考选择题，我不太会。OMG OMG，前所未有。显。

Second crisis: Stumble.

下午了，考书：
25题选择题，回答完了，按'Submit'。Score：超级，超级烂。很很很很失望。如果明天有谁敢问我的mid-semester test考得怎么样，我会把他给杀掉。开始sien了。

Third crisis: Fall slat on face.

考完生物，去上统计学课：
乌云密布，要下雨了。不爽不爽不爽。今天回家要撑伞，又死不冷。心情真的转败了。

上课，分考卷：
唉...... 没有想像中的好。不甘心......

回到家，还有一个statistics online quiz 和Biology Independent Learning Task（ILT）要做。烦死......

先做统计学的：
第一题，按错键钮，荧幕lag掉，所以点击backward按钮。在进考试的link，它说: Assessment has been submitted. Cannot be attempted again.
@*$%#&#!! What the hell! 零分!! 明天要去administration office处理, shit。不给我再考怎么办?!?!?!?! 总平均的两份勒!

做ILT：
10题选择题。Submit score: 7/10。Shit。也是前所未有。第一次拿到那么差的分数。

在KL念书的朋友们：

有谁在12月3日可以收留我吗? 我和姐姐那天从墨尔本飞来吉隆坡，要过个夜，因为隔天要在KL做medical check-up。然后就飞回古晋了。

如果能找到住宿，妈妈说回古晋的机票可以定晚一点，可以留在kl多几天，和朋友enjoy enjoy~ 如果没有也没关系啦，住酒店罢了嘛，12月4日回咯~

耶，Week 4 终于过去了。

这个星期好繁忙，累死了。2个实验课（2 x 三小时!!!）、1个 1000-word assignment、1个Quiz、1个物理考试。烦~

今天（拜五）考掉物理。够“粗”的，还好没有吃草，哈哈。

那不是重点。我写此post是要告诉你们今天上management课听到的有趣消息。

我的Management教授是个经验丰富的consultant，是很多大公司advisor之类的人物，帮忙上层策划公司的计划、策略等。我这个科目的课本也是他写的。哈哈，是不是很sat，这个人。

今天我们学“Planning”，谈到“Goals”。他举个例子：

“About a week ago, the Ministry of Higher Education in Malaysia has a --- let's say one of their highest pieces of purpose of statement is: They want three Top 50 universities to be in Malaysia. Top 50 in the world. Three Top 50 unversities in Malaysia, 10 years from now. ”

不是一间，而是三间? 十年以内????

Mikan (Japanese for Mandarin Orange)

My life is just full of sia soi moments. =.=

Seriously.

I was finishing lunch out in the open (in campus) just now. I took out a mandarin orange and started to peel it.

Some people can peel them so nicely, but I'm the type that's TERRIBLE at peeling these things. Especially during CNY(when there's so many mandarins to eat), you can tell the worst "peeler" is me in my family.The skin comes off in pieces instead of sticking together to make a "flowerish" shape, and juice always spurts everywhere.

In the middle of popping three pieces into my mouth, a girl came up to me and said she was doing a survey. While she was talking, I was nodding, "mmm-hmm"-ing, and spitting the pits into my palm and throwing them into my container at the same time.

My god, so many pits in this mandarin! There's 4 to 5 in every piece I eat..... I keep spitting and throwing them ALL THE WHILE she was talking about the survey. =.=

It doesn't end there. She was out of survey sheets so she went back to her stall to get some. My hands were sticky with the juice so I took out my water bottle. When she came back, I was still washing my hands with my drinking water, pouring it into the bushes behind me. =.= Argh~

So, there you have it. =.=

Couldn't help it. I felt it was so comical that I had to find a computer and write it down. ^-^

p/s: Still in uni right now - the computers don't have Chinese. So I can't type "gan('kam')" in Chinese and can only say pieces of orange instead of "ban(the 'liang ci')". So ma-huan~

The First Year Experience Questionnaire

今天回到家时，看到Melbourne University寄来的信。很兴奋，哈哈。期待看里面是什么。上次生物部门寄来 "表扬你得H1" 的信；其实也没什么啦，不过那时收到我蛮开心的。^-^

打开来看，原来是问卷…… "The First Year Experience Questionnaire"。一本A4-size的booklet，回答后放进已准备好的reply paid envelope就可以寄回去了。总共6面问题，哇塞~

本来不想做的，不过看到这一句：
"The identity number on this questionnaire enables us to send a reminder notice to students who do not respond to the initial dispatch of the questionnaire."
哈咪?? 没有寄回去还要人来烦我……算了算了，做啦。

一大堆问题：Accomodation、Income、Study Habits、进度怎样、跟得上吗、教授解释得清楚吗…… 很多就是了，我再多说你也不会念的啦，最多用眼睛扫描罢了，哈哈。

只想分享问卷的其中一题：

周末：从早到晚看动漫、漫画。
剩下的时间：吃、喝、睡、搭火车、看电视。

念书? 等到考试期间才拼咯。
上网做功课? 上tutorial前拼题目。去wikipedia巡。

姐姐看我填这部分，一直在笑。也难怪啦，我真的很堕落，堕落到可笑的地步了，哈哈。调查问卷的人一定很惊讶的，哈哈。这个学期要学乖了~

可爱的 Eric

那天我和妈妈讲电话。

她说前一阵子，有好几天载Eric去三小时，Eric叫她不要下车。平时妈妈、姐姐或我载他去学校，都会跟着他到课室的。

"你不要下来哈，我自己会。"

后来妈妈问他为什么不要她下去。原来，最近因为猪流感的关系，学校来了一些医生，要量学生们的体温。Eric怕妈妈被感染。OMG，感动到~

"你不可以生病啊，我不会照顾你哦......"

好乖噢，太孝顺了~ 果然是Eric，哈哈。

... the Sunday before uni started:
Went out on an outing to Melbourne Zoo: I Sun、U Sun、Alvin、my sister、me and the Guest of Honour: Kiat. Had a great time: ate a Japanese lunch -- visited zoo -- then had dinner together at Sophia's. Pictures... a bit lazy to upload, still in my camera gok. =.= I'm pretty sure I Sun's and Kiat's blog will have posted them anyway.

Semester 2 commences! My subjects for this semester:
-Genes and Environment
This is 生物 lo~ Studying DNA and stuff. ^-^ No need explain too much la~
-Physics 2
There's Physics 1: Fundamentals and Physics 2: Life Sciences and Environment. They put me in Physics 2. Sheesh. Thought I had escaped physics for good.
-Experimental Design and Data Analysis
Studying how to design experiments, collect data, analyse data, probability, statistics.... that kind of thing.
- Managing People & Organisations
I was struggling to choose something from mangament/finance/accounting/economics/business.
I feel that I need to learn something useful for society in the future, other than my 理科 stuff.

... hate the weather here, especially the wind. So cold. Brrr~

... bought blueberries the other day:
And made blueberry puffs! Cooked the filling myself, but the pastry was ready-made de la, haha, store bought one. Really yummy. Will post pictures when I feel like it. =.= Paiseh, I so lazy right.....

You know, we did the bacteria culture on the agar, like in 一中. Wahaha~ And looked at bacteria under the microscope, see if they're Gram(+) or Gram(-).... they didn't let us do the 革兰氏染法 ourselves though. Pff...

Back to Melbourne

Getting lazier and lazier to blog stuff these days... I'm gonna use rojak language for this post, so bear with me~

Today's my 5th day back in Melbourne, and already I'm very pek chek at the cold --- back to wearing socks, jackets, etc. etc. all day AT HOME and hot baths, lack of lovely food --- I miss Mum's cooking T-T, and good entertainment --- TV here ar, haih~

我很不舍得古晋..... 我的家人、朋友、哥罗面、弹钢琴、 Astro..... 连暑热都想念=.=。

On the plus side, internet connection here is much, much faster than in Kuching. I have a whole new semester to look forward to... I'm going to study better this semester!

I have a whole week free before uni starts ^-^. My sister and I had planned to visit the Melbourne Zoo、Melbourne Aquarium, trawl around City Centre, go window shooping etc. --- but because H1N1 still very serious here, a lot of plans had to be cancelled. AND her semester starts this week, so I'm very much bored at home. =.= So pitiful...

昨天陪姐姐去city：她上课；我在自己的campus荡，哈哈。去图书馆借多多DVD回家一起看。查时间表 --- 学校的automatic allocating system排得蛮惨的，所以必须到student centre调整。买物理课本。也去了艾珊的apartment呆，哈哈。很废的一天。

这次回古晋和好友出、每天和家人渡过，很开心^-^。没有见到佳盈、秀萍、秀晶等，有点可惜=.=。有机会送文龙去KL念书，九月份时玉玲、1+他们也要去台湾了。总觉得有点伤感。哈哈。

今天成绩放榜了... 我在大学的第一学期.... 好紧张！想起几个星期前的自己，那里kin tio考试.... 平时不念书、做笔记etc... 不像一些人那么勤奋。考试前才来pia，不知道自己考得好不好啊~ 怕怕...

成绩在澳洲早上10点（也就是马来西亚的8点）放榜。早上载那两粒小瓜上学，荡了一会儿就8点了，可是我又不敢去看... 呜~~~考到很差怎么办??? 还是晚点看好了。哈哈.....

后来，姐姐陪我坐在电脑前；Login 后，鼠标点击“Get My Results” 的大大按钮（真的很大，超级恐怖...），荧幕空白一阵子，开始load了...... *呼吸困难*

Happy Birthday, Ponai~

今天终于考完最后一科了：Chemistry for Biomedicine。两个字：超难 =.=''。选择题还好，问答题很“粗”。走出考场的大门，不知道要开心还是伤心才好。唉，算了，得过且过。

我搞错飞机起飞的时间，原来不是凌晨三点，是下午三点。所以今晚没有赶去机场，得在墨尔本过多一夜。

耶! 明天就要回古晋了! 不知大家过得怎么样了。好期待! \(^-^)/

今天考掉 Biomolecules & Cells 了!

早上下雨，超级冷。到考场时，门口外已很多人了。就这样，一大群人撑着伞在雨中发抖，到开门为止。又不能复习（有些人例外：他们一只手拿着伞，另一只手拿着讲义拼命念）。

进考场前，要“Put your bags in the containers provided.” 我还以为有什么类似lockers的东西让我们放，原来是真的是那种containers! 没有带相机，没办法让你看到它的样子。我尽量形容吧。是仓库那里load、unload货物，铁制，长方体的那种container。My god~

有两个，在喷水池和后门之间。里面有架子，但不是一人一格。=.='' 像书架一样，大家的bag一起放。考生们就排队进去，哪里有好放就放。很夸张，每个架子都被我们的bag塞满了。只能说，够“老爷”的...

被关在里面三小时，考到脸青青。=.=

时间真的很不够，我还以为可以leng leng 做完后检查答案，谁知....... 就是那些死Essay questions。呜~~

我预算的“行程”：
1 hour --> Multiple-Choice+Fill in the blanks
1 hour --> Essay Q
1 hour --> 做之前留空、不确定的题目+查答案

结果：
1 hour --> Multiple-Choice (14题左右不确定)、Fill in the blanks (5题左右空着)
1 hour 25 minutes --> Essay 还剩两题!!!
10 minutes -->飙过选择题、填充（不确定的）+ 快速扫描之前答案、有没有涂错O卡等
23 minutes -->疯狂写完 esaay questions 的答案
2 minutes --> 大概大概查答案

=.= 好像很惨酱... 不过好在有做完。

还OK啦，感觉上我应该可以考到蛮好的成绩~

考完后，我和姐姐去还bill，然后搭火车去campus交我的Creative Writing assignment。痛快! 解决掉两科了!

现在要K数学了...

Royal Exhibition Building

明天就要考我在大学的第一项考试了!好紧张!

我考的三科都在同一个考场：Royal Exhibition Building，简称 REB。它在 Carlton Gardens 里面，Melbourne Musuem的对面。听起来我很了解墨尔本似的，哈哈，这些都是姐姐和我讲的啦~

值得一提，REB 不是 Melbourne University 的（是就sat咯），是city centre 的一个建筑物，可以让外界用（通常拿来当考场），有点像MBKS呱... 但它比MBKS美很多，哈哈...

前个星期，姐姐带我去看我的考场（我很幸福吧，有酱的大姐）。REB 好大好大! 大到~~ 我站很远的地方，还是拍不进整个full view。我们坐tram去，一下车就看到大门。

REB被分为两半：REB Rathdowne 和REB Nicholson。我三项考试的座位都排在REB Nicholson，是建筑物的右边，我们走向大门口的右边。

回到家时，我打开学校提供的考场地图和指示。才发现，我们搞错门口了!!! 什么鬼东西!

Swot Vac

好久没post东西了，嘿嘿...

时间过得好快... Week12 料罗~ @_@

没想到一个学期就这么过去了。我还没习惯自己是个大学生的念头呢! 其实一个学期是很短的时间罢了啦，只有12个星期在上课耶!
Week 1 to 6 ---> Easter break (1 week) ---> Week 7 to 12 ---> Swot Vac(1 week) ---> Exam Period (3 weeks)

昨天是最后一天上课，很多人（尤其是那些a-mo）都很开心。下个星期就是 Swot Vac 了...

我起初也搞不懂 Swot Vac 是什么鬼来的，原来是复习周。 =.= 我想应该是"Swot Vacation"的简称呱... 因为"Swot" 是K书的意思嘛... Haiyo，做么不会叫 Revision Week 就是料，还叫到酱好听，什么 vacation 罗 ...

每个人有四科，所以在 Exam Period 的那三个星期里有其中四天有考试。我的 Breadth subject 是 Creative Writing，只需交 assignments，不用考试的(耶~)，所以我只考三科!

我的考试时间排得蛮好的。各科之间有隔好足够时间念书:
Swot Vac: 埋在书堆里... T-T
Exam Week 1: (Tue) Biomolecules & Cells, (Fri) Calculus 2
Exam Week 2: 没有考试 ^-^ （可以pia化学 - 化学超难!）
Exam Week 3: (Tue) Chemistry for Biomedicine

Science students 比较soi，他们Exam Week 1就连续三天考三科(wakao~)。好可怜，Swot Vac 就要pia完三个科目...

我的化学(最后一科)在6月23号考，是雨驹的生日，要记得打给她~ 而且当天晚上就要搭12点的飞机回古晋了!

Woo~ 好期待! 回去看 Eric 、吃妈妈的菜肴、找玉玲和思霓，可以看Astro、弹钢琴~

唉，要开始念书了，显... 加油加油!

On Easter Sunday (two weeks ago), we 一中生 had a BBQ feast to celebrate Easter and the Easter break.

Location: U Sun and I Sun's apartment.

Present Company: 恩俐、本区、明珠、郁珊、艾珊、毛裕实、势能、Janet、me - and Alvin (from Kuching High)。So it's actually 一中生+一位晋中生。haha...

And Alvin's from Kuching High, he's really nice and friendly. He's studying in RMIT now. JPA scholar ei~

Mid-semester Tests

Hello everyone!

@-@ A bit lazy to update my blog after the exams because I just want to lie down and do nothing.

OK, I have four subjects per semester. Let me tell you my results:

Biomolecules and Cells(worth 10% in 100%): 23/25
* 25 multiple choice questions. 35 minutes.
* Not bad right? Haha... Cause it's actually '生物', though some parts ARE deeper, and it's in English. T-T

Calculus 2(worth 10% out of 100%): 30/40
* 5 written questions. 45 minutes writing time.
* I didn't think that I would have to touch maths again after UEC... Worse, they didn't put me in Calculus I, but Calculus II - because I've done Advanced Mathematics in secondary school before!
* 晓君 told me that everything needs maths, so I'm training myself to like it. Hee-hee....

Chemistry for Biomedicine (5% out of 100%): 11/15
* 15 Multiple choice questions. 30 minutes.
* Done on internet, any time between Friday(Week 7) till Wednesday(Week 8). Only one try.
* Must finish and press "SUBMIT" in 30 minutes, or else you will get 0 marks.

* Most pek chek, this one. 5 percent nia!!! Who want to study seriously....
* The questions so hard.... 超出范围!! T-T
* Done on internet, so textbook and notes can be spreaded out in front of you (shhhh... ). ^-^
* I even 沦落 till go Google and Wikipedia the molecule. Haha.
* Unfair test. Many people did it with their friends in the library so 3 or 4 people were doing it together.

Some of my classmates in the course are so... so... hao lian! "Oh, I got full marks~"... "It was so easy right?"... "I only scored 24! That question was WRONG! I should have gotten 25!"... =.= Haih~ 是啦，你们就是很"kiang"，好吗？

My confidence really low here, I always feel intimidated. It's like everyone around me are geniuses.

My breadth subject, Creative Writing - Ideas and Practice:
Don't have exams for this course (yay!).

OMG! 10 days no post anything liao! Holiday time so lazy post stuff on my blog. Hehe...

Just a quick note to say I won't be posting anything till next Wednesday (29/4) because I'm going to have my Calculus and Chemistry Mid Term Examination. O_o aih....

I had the Easter Break -- a whole week! -- to study for it. But, haih~ you know me la, so 堕落 one. Everyday sleep, eat, relax, read... Now 开学了, no more excuse, need to study liao~ T-T

I had a nice Easter. Went to a BBQ function, and made some puffs during the holidays too! ^-^ I'll post it up after my exams. Till then, don't bother to check back too much~ XD

Part III - Easter Egg Count

In Malaysia, people don't do much on Easter, right? And we Christians just attend mass in church, with the occasional painted boiled-eggs. That's it.

Easter (and Christmas!) is a big event here. Even non-Christians celebrate it - by eating chocolate eggs and hot-cross buns! There's also a HUGE Easter Egg hanging from above in Melbourne Central.

Actually it's been there for almost a month liao.
I was just too lazy to bring my camera until today.
Haha...

As you all know (from my previous posts), Sally, my Calculus tutor chia me an Easter egg. ^-^

Then, at 11am today, Union House was giving away free Easter Eggs for Union members. Since I'm a member, and I don't have prac. today, I had some free time to go grab some.

Easter Eggs and Easter Bunnies,
and dumped them in this basket.

Everyone grabbing for their lives.
As you can see, the Bunnies are all gone.
Actually, I was quite far back
from the front of the line...

BUT, I am Malaysian!
Of course 插队技术 better than them la!
Haha, so I managed to snag an Easter Bunny lo~

And, in the afternoon, Charlie - my Creative Writing tutor, chia us Easter Eggs as well. At the end of class, there were still some left in the packet. He said he didn't want to see any left. So I took another two. Hehe...

Some of us (from the Creative Writing class) went for hot chocolate. I tagged along and had my first hot chocolate in Austrlia. Oh my god, it was so sweet. Too sweet, even for me lei~

When I got to Melbourne Central, I fount that..... I dropped my Easter Bunny! SIEN!! Thank God I didn't drop any of my Easter Eggs. T-T

So... my net gain (净得) Easter Goodies:

are the ones I raided from Union House.

The other five are from Charlie.

This is my first time celebrating Easter with actual chocolate Easter Eggs. ^-^

Part II - Stalking

In my Creative Writing class today, we did a 'stalking exercise'.

Our tutor, Charlie told us to pair up. We were let out of the building and had to be back in 30 minutes.

We had to find two people having a conversation in campus. Then, we have to casually get near them and listen in on the conversation. One of us will record the conversation only while the other one writes about their body language and appearance only.

Of course, all these have to be done without them knowing!! If we get found out, cham liao lo! Then 'tiok sut' by the people we spy on, haha...

We have to 轮流 read out our writings when we get back. Both the conversation and the description - to give a complete picture of the actual conversation 情况.

I suggested going to South Lawn to my partner, Jess. We went there and jackpot! Many people were sprawled across the lawn. We picked our target: a guy and a girl sitting on the grass in the sun, talking.

I really felt like a stalker (haha) when we sat down next to them, pretending to be writing in our notepads, when we're actually spying on them!

I 负责 the 'record conversation' part.

Unfortunately, the 'specimens' we picked were sharing a boring conversation. =.= They talked about politics and maths. OMG! So many terminology! The words just flew over my head. Haha...

They keep lasping into silence, it's like they don't have many topics to chat about. I kept waiting for them to start talking again, with my pencil poised ready. But when they actually start talking, I'm always caught off guard! XD

When we got back to the seminar room, Charlie had distributed about 3 chocolate Easter eggs on each of our seats. Aww~ so sweet! Haha...

I really love my Creative Writing classes. They're so much fun!

Part I - Morning

At last! Last day before Easter break.

We have practicals once in two weeks. I don't have prac today, so 照道理 I can sleep in late, since my classes don't start till 2pm. Haha....

But I have some problems with Calculus and my tutor's consultation hour today is 9am~10am, so bo bian lo, need to get up early.

I like my tutor, Sally. She's really nice ^-^.

When I got there, two other girls were already there asking for help with their math, so I sat down and waited. There's a shelf with a some toys and books and a sign that read "While U Wait". Ok lo, I played the Miller's Maze, which is a lot of fun. It's my first time playing this game. Here's what it looks like:

There's only two holes leading to the outside of the cube. You insert a steel ball inside, and jiggle it around to make it come out from the other hole. It's quite hard. Very kek tiok because I tried so many paths but all failed! Haha....

I also read a tiny book called 'Lateral Thinking'. It's a riddle book. The questions were fun ^-^. Here are some very kek tiok ones. When I read the answers, I was like 'Haiyo! Why didn't I think of it?!?!' Want to hit myself, haha...

Week 6 already! So fast!

There are 12 weeks in each semester. 12 weeks only, such a short time right~
Anyway, there is a week-long break between six weeks. Next week is holiday time! It's called Easter break, since it's Easter time.
This Friday is Good Friday - a public holiday. That means Thursday is the last day of school! Woo-hoo! Early start to holidays!

Today I had my "Biomolecules and Cells" mid-term exam during Biology Tutorial. We did the test in the Biology Computer Lab. 30 minutes. 25 multiple-choice questions. I scored 23/25. Don't know want happy or kek tiok... ^-^

I also had my Chemistry Practical today - which was terrible, by the way. I'm really bad at pracs, and today was a busy session - a tightly-packed schedule. We did titration [滴定] and buffer solutions [缓冲溶液]. Hardly had time to finish it.

The most important thing is, my 'burdens' for this week are finally over! Now all I have to do is attend classes on Wednesday and Thursday and I'm free! I practically floated to Melbourne Central today, haha...

Pity for those who have their Exam or Practical on Thursday. They'll have to study till that day or be cooped up in school that day when others go have fun. Practicals last 3 hours ler!

To celebrate my... umm... freedom??? I treated myself vanilla ice-cream with two crumbled oats biscuits after dinner. Yum!

This may look a bit ugly, but it's really good!
This is 'Bulla' ice-cream, it tastes better than Wall's or King's or Nestle ice-cream.
It's really creamy~ And it's 98% fat free~
Don't know real or not though, haha... says so on the lid.

Daylight Saving Time

Hey, all. Daylight Saving Time starts today.

I don't know why and how it works...... we just adjust our time to one hour earlier. Yesterday night, Janet and I were turning all the clocks in our house back one hour. ^-^

I think it's because in autumn and winter, the days become longer (南半球 - 夏季：昼短夜长；冬季：昼长夜短)？So we have to be an hour early to catch the daylight and make the most of the day? I don't know, haha....

Anyway, now Melbourne time is 2 hours earlier than Malaysia time, not 3 hours. The good thing is, we get an extra hour sleep! Like today, we woke up at 9am (DST), but in real time it's actually it's 10am. An extra hour's sleep! Woo! Haha... 蛮爽的啦~ althought quite a 废 reason...

很无奈。

下拜二是我在墨尔本大学的第一次考试，好紧张。“Biomelecules and Cells” Mid-Term Exam。只是 25 题选择题，在 Tutorial 时在网上回答，直接 submit。大家的题目是从题库抽来的，所以每个人的 25 题都不同。

我一直以来都没有念课本准备 Lecture 的，所以最近有点忙复习。其实大部分是在中学念过的，只是要用英文，程度稍微稍微加深。搞得自己很累，每天都念那死不厚的课本。这是我应得的，谁叫我一开始不念。哈哈...

刚才，我做 Mid-Term Practice Question。27 题里对 25 题，不错嘛！而是复习 Chapter One 罢了就做的。在一中盖的底还不错，要感谢老师啦~ 但现在反而不太想念书去。=.=

拜二的“Biomolecules and Cells” Tutorial，有个同学问我考试学书了吗。我回答：“Haven't.” 因为当时真的还没开始复习。她说她也是。Tutorial 时，我们做关于 Animal Phyla 的题目。不可参考资料，但可以和同组的人讨论。

我靠着记忆和印象来回答，这位同学就很厉害啰，很清楚了解要点，每一题给的意见都头头是道。我就称赞她：“Wow! You're good at this!” 她很高兴，说：“I hate this part. So...” 所以，意思是说，她有学这几个单元啦？还说还没开始复习。唉哟，全部都“暗暗来”的。显...

作天上网看大家的部落格，发现原来很多人最近开 blog。读了大家的 post，有很忧伤的感觉。因为我在那么远的地方，似乎无法和古晋那里的朋友共享许多事。思霓在 Swinburne 的生活、玉玲过得怎样、川颖的生日会、阿广家里的“凤凰楼”关了... ... 很多很多的事，我都没法直接体会，只能从别人的部落格、感言提取... ...

前几天，我尝试写 poetry。我拿 Creative Writing 为 breadth subject。在 Tutorial 里，每星期有几个人写篇作品，寄给老师，老师寄给所有人，大家印出来，在家里念，Tutorial 时作者再念一遍给同学听的，同学给意见。恐怖~

我们现在学着 poetry，这个星期轮到我提供材料。写出来的东西那么差，我也敢寄给我的 tutor。真的很无奈。有空我会放上来，让各位笑。

明天就要念给他们听我的 poem 了。唉，不知他们现在念着，在想什么... ... 一定是：“This Amy's a bad writer.” T-T

堕落的我

最近变懒了，总是没有学书。但其实，我在高三时也是蛮堕落的啦~ 统考都考到“酱”了。

哈哈，重点是，在这里，堕落可是不行的。大家都很勤奋，Lecture 后一定有复习。有个从坎贝拉来的同学，她在 college 没有念生物。拜日时，为了赶上进度，念课本念到早上 1.15 am 的勒！Walao ei, 吓死人！

我呢，哪里有学书的？有学就好啰！每天回到家就发呆、看书或看电视。现在有线了，当然是每天上网看动漫（anime）和漫画。然后，可以 update 部落格，上 MSN, 看大家的部落格等... ... 唉，堕落的人就是“酱 ”~

最近有个新的动漫好看，叫 “Skip Beat!”。很好看耶! 我也在 onemanga 开始看“Prince of Tennis”的漫画。没想到“网球王子”那么好看，很容易上瘾~

懒了懒了... ...

下星期二，我就要考 Biomolecules and Cells 的 Mid-Term Exam。有点紧张，因为已经好久没考试了，感觉上已忘了要怎样准备考试。

在一中，一个星期几乎每天都考试，大家都在那种念书的气氛下，考试连连不断，我们一科一科应付，不停地准备下去。

这里只要求 Lecture 前要念它设好要念的课本范围。例：Lecture 9 前念好P.567-580。当然，你不要念也可以，只要你跟得上 Lecture 就是了。而且，那个课本，就是厚到~ 你连打开都懒得啊！总之，很没毅力去年课本就是了。

功课极少，只有 Calculus Tutorial 有练习做，但不用交。整个学期只须交三次 Assignment 习题。根本就是轻松到~ 引诱你堕落罢了!

奇怪的是，我的 course 的同学都很勤劳，是积极到最顶点那种！很“显”他们一下。

其实是我自己堕落呱... ... 还拿别人当借口。哈哈

鸭子

好命的鸭子... ...

上个星期，马来西亚放学校假期，我的家庭来墨尔本看我们。我们墨尔本家附近有个蛮大的池塘，池塘里有很多鸭子。

Eric 很喜欢它们，那些鸭子就死不好命啦~

就这样，爸爸每天买一条面包（AUS $1.99），是专门给 Eric 养鸭的。

我们的家在一个小坡上，大门外就是这条路。
沿着这条路向下走，就看到池塘了。其实是很近的啦~

我差不多每天都陪 Eric 去养鸭。我们几个兄弟姐妹，大概在五点左右，就走路去养鸭。那些鸭子也知道我们这个时候来，全部都浮在岸边守候。

At library again. After a night's sleep, I feel more relaxed and could tackle the questions better. I realized that I was too quick to think the questions were so hard.

Xin Ling helped me with some of the problems, and I saw that we have learned those before. So I calmed down and finished it. Now looking back, sheesh, why couldn't I do Question 18 and 20? We've learned that before!

I submitted my score: 18.5 out of 25. Not bad! Then, I did a very, very stupid thing! I clicked PREVIOUS and now I have to do the quiz all over again! Argh! And the questions are different! Damn la!

*half an hour later*

Finally! This set of questions harder. Really sien. 17.5 out of 25. Sheesh, don't care. Okay liao la! I want go home play with Eric and Donna liao~ They today go Victoria market - so good! - while I calculate Chemistry in this 死不冷 library! Pfff...

This week is my 5th week in Australia, 3rd week of school and... most importantly: the mid-semester school holidays in Malaysia.

My mum, Eric, Donna and my aunt landed here last Saturday at midnight. But it was 1.06pm by the time they came out of CUSTOMS, so... I should say they came on Sunday.... right??

Argh! Confused now.... X_X

Anyway~ I'm so happy they're finally here!! There's so many things to fill them in on. Like what I saw, heard, little thoughts I had during the four weeks I'm here. And comparing Malaysia's and Australia's lifstyles. It's just so GREAT they're here. ^-^

It's also very amusing to see their 生理钟 get mixed up! Eric and Donna can't seem to get up in the mornings! *lol* They wake up around 12.30 pm (MY time: 9.30am) and get hungry at awkward times - like me when I first came here. Haha...

I played with kawaii Eric and catched up chatting with Donna during the weekend. We all went shopping together. Janet and I broguht Eric to feed to the ducks at the huge pond near our house.

My mum and aunt... they don't seem affected by the time difference. It's probably the "Super-Mum Gene" they have. They still wake up at impossibly early hours and get on with life ordinarily.

Speaking of my mum, it's sooo good to eat the amazingly delicious meals she cooks! Bliss~ XD

Friday the 13th. wu-hu-hu-hu~ *ghosts wailing*

My last class today was Calculus. We finished up 'Limits' today and will be starting 'Complex Number' next week.

My class starts at 2.15pm till 3.15pm. But today, when my lecturer finished teaching this chapter, he say we very 'guai (^-^)' so he let us go at 2.57pm. Woo-hoo! Early start on weekend!

He told us to be 'extremely quiet' when leaving and 'don't tell anyone about this'. Haha.... my cute lecturer. But I'm telling you all so.... paiseh sir. wahaha~

I borrowed a lot of DVDs from the Rowden White Library. My Mum, Eric and Donna are coming to Australia tomorrow so Donna and Eric will have good movies to watch. I took Kung Fu Panda, Miss Congeality, Pirates of the Carribean and two animes movies, one of them by Hayao Miyazaki.

Mosquito

Had Calculus Tutorial today.

In Calculus tutorials, we are divided into many tables and we solve mtahs problems together.

There are two girls and a boy in my table. They're all very nice and we get on quite well. The boy, Norris(not sure of the spelling), is from China. OMG! His maths so 'kiang'!! He calculates really, really fast. And when he's stuck, the tutor explain one sentence nia, he say "Got it!". 佩服佩服...

Today, I asked for his help with a problem and couldn't understand the concept. In the end, he asked if I can speak Mandarin and explained in Chinese [haha >.<"]. I'm getting waaaay beside the point. Already 离题 liao~

During solving my maths problem, my hand suddenly felt itchy. I raised my hand to see a mosquito on it. At first, I was so suprised baecause this is the first mosquito I've seen in Australia. It's cold here so you rarely see them. It's a dull brownish-black instead of the the sharp black colour we see in Malaysia.

I slapped it. squish~ It fell dead at once. Without any blood in it. Which means it hasn't sucked mine yet.

That got me thinking: the mosquitoes in Malaysia are smarter. They hide in dark places and come out in the evening and at night. It's hard to catch them. When you finally 'clap' them between your palms, They gush out a lot of blood, which means they've been feeding well.

Mosquitoes in Australia don't last long. Lousy technique~ haha

So, even though I don't miss them... Cheers, mosquitoes in Malaysia!

P/S: Went to the Lost and Found today. My pen-drive wasn't in the box! T-T And all the lovely pictures I've taken are in there too!! Argh!

Chemistry Practical

Yesterday, I had my Practical (which means lab work) session. Everyone here calls it 'Prac', which sounds kinda weird (to me la). Haha...

We had to make paracetamol, otherwise known as Panadol !! ^-^

We mixed two chemicals (don't want type the names in case some people bored till fall asleep), heated [加热] it on steam bath, put it in ice water to crystallize [结晶], then filtered [过滤] it. After that, we dissolve [溶解] it again, wait for it to crystallize again, filter it again to get purer crystals [晶体].

After filtering the second time, I had some tiny white crystlas (Panadol o! people~) in my funnel [漏斗]. We were supposed to pull out the vaccum hose [真空软管] connected to the flask [烧瓶] before removing the funnel on top. I couldn't pull out my vacuum hose!! So I asked the boy beside me to help me.

He DID pull it out. But my funnel went flying and the contents spilled out. {Sien...} My crystals spilled into some water. {更 sien...} My demonstrator helped me to save some but not much.

She told me "I'm afraid I have to take off some marks." {Sien sien sien...} Because we have to calculate the percentage yield [纯度] using the mass [质量] of our sample. Since my panadol spilled, my calculations will not be accurate.

*Is anyone laughing at me while reading this?!?!? Sze Nee did when I told her on the phone. haha....*

The boy apologised, of course. I don't blame him la~ It wasn't his fault. But my marks...... *sob-sob*

On my way home I bought ice-cream because I feel very down. When I got home, an accident had happened in front of my lorong. There was an ambulance and police. Looks like an unlucky day~

That night, I talked with Sze Nee on the phone. It was nice to talk to someone back home. I felt really good after that phone call.

Before I went to bed, I realized another thing: I left my pen-drive at the Printing Centre in uni!! {VERY 'pek chek' now}

Labor Day

Hi everyone.

It's Labor Day in Australia today, and it's a public holiday. BUT! But lar, Melbourne University does not acknowledge it as a holiday, so I still have classes today. Start at 8 am (Monday's first class is the earliest in the whole week) gok!!

Wu~ wu~ wu~ (In case you are confused, this is crying. The "kou zi bian" and "wu" from "wu ya (crow)". Since this library's computer does not have Chinese...... =.=" Paiseh everyone.)

Turns out that when Melbourne University existed there was no Labor Day. The workers went on strike to get a holiday, and they did, but Melbourne University and Monash University still do not acknowledge it, so both universities have classes today. Sien...

Don't know the above story is true or not. Maybe my lecturer kacau us...

Life in Uni

Okay, apart from the great Rowden White Library, my life in university.....

NO SPECIFIC FRIENDS.
I haven't got any real friends yet. I made some friends in tutorials or programs because we are forced into different groups. But after those, we just say "Hi" when we see each other and keep walking our different ways. Most of them are from Trinity College, so they stick with their own group. There's one who doesn't acknowledge me since she's with her friend.

LONELY.
Walking alone on campus. When I see a group walking together, talking, laughing.... I think back on times in 一中. I always had Pony, Jiun, YuTing and FunJoo. In class, I was very friendly with 1+, SiewChin, HJ, SiewPhin, YitNee, ZhenZhen and Doreen as well. Or, I could always pop over to other classes to see my best mates YuLing, YanYing or SzeNee. I really miss them!
* No Chinese on this computer. Sien~ "一中" I use online translator translate "one" and "middle"~ haha

TIRED.
This campus ig BIIGGG! My feet hurt as I have to walk here and there for my classes.

WORRIED.
Maths Chemistry and Biology are, Thank God, quite easy beacause most were covered in Senior Three. At times like these, I'm glad to have studied at 独中. But I've forgotten a lot since I have not study for 4 months. My classmates look so grown up and smart. How can I compare to them?? Especially when I can't catch what the lecturers (some have foreign accents) said, I feel like I'm the only one in the whole class. =(

COLD.
Melbourne's weather is soooo cold ar! Even during summer, the temperature is around 19*C sometimes! Today's a rainy day so it's really cold too. And the wind! Even a stop sign got blown down ar!

HOMESICK.
I keep thinking about Mum and Eric at home. I call them when I can. Thankfully, Pony from Taiwan messages me sometimes and I talk with her on the phone too!

Can't wait to get back to Kuching....... For those studying in Malaysia (even in KL), lucky you!

Rowden White Library

Hi guys. I'm in the Rowden White Library in Melbourne University now. It's only open for members, and since I'm a member~~

Oh my god, this place is REALLY amazing. There's lots of books (not textbooks or research ones), storybooks I mean. There's free internet access - which I'm using now, and there are signs on the tables saying :"PLEASE DO NOT STUDY HERE." *lol*

There are shelves and shelves of DVDs that you can borrow. I've scanned them over and there's Kung Fu Panda, Mama Mia! even Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dawson's Creek the whole season series!!

There's a room connected to the library. It's quite a large room, it's dimly lit. There are a lot of beanbags on the floor and some people are sleeping (really!) on them. There's also a large LCD screen here, and a movie is featured all the time. There's a timetable posted on what's playing for the week. Now, it's playing an anime called "Steamboy".

And the BEST part of this room(to me la ^-^), is that there's manga and anime here!!!! Whoo-hoo!!! The anime part, I still need to make sure, 'cause I haven't seen any VCDs or DVDs lying around yet. BUT, there are loads of comics!! Especially the Dragon Ball comics, five small stacks eh!

There's Fruits Basket, Tsubasa, Prince of Tennis, Ranma 1/2, One Piece, Bleach, xxHolic, etc. There's also Archie's comics too! This is heaven to me! The only bad part is: the manga is in English. Pff....

Being a Student Union member is quite nice. Only we can enter the Rowden White Libraryand borrow up to six items. We have a Members-only lounge in the cafeteria (there's microwave ovens and a plasma TV). And every Tuesday, we have free BBQ while listening to bands!!

It's 12.17pm now, around 1pm I'm going to grab some free BBQ! Yeah!

The funniest thing just happened. Okay~ Maybe it's not THAT funny, but still...

A lot of people just came into the library. They're probably new students on a tour of the school. It's Orientation Day after all. The teacher brought them along the computers. And I was like, so sia-soi!!! cause everyone around me were working on their design work or essays.

Then only one person was clicking sushi on the screen amd reading anime reviews. Guess who? Ya, that's right, it's me. Haih.... embarassing "chin" lor. I didn't know whether to keep playing or close the window ar! I'm not even a student here! I'm using Janet's account to access the computer.

Where are you, sis?? I don't dare to play games in here for the moment..... haha.....

Hmm maybe I'll go read a book. Safer...

Hi everyone!

There's no internet connection at our house, so I couldn't update my blog for the past few days. =(

It's 9.41 am in Melbourne. Right now I'm using the internet in the RMIT University library, waiting for Janet. It's her Enrolment and Orientation day.

The two guys using computers beside me now are swearing up and down. They are really "chu" lor~~ Every little thing need to f*** this f*** that. Sien....... Wanna hit them.....

I'm going to blog about the past few days. From my first day in Melbourne till today. I took lots of pics! People around me probably think I'm a weirdo, taking pics wherever I am - the supermarket, the sidewalks, the train, even in this library! Haha......

Last Day in Kuching

Happy Valentine's Day~~

Today is my last day in Kuching. I'm leaving early tomorrow morning at 6 something in the morning. That means I have to wake up around 3 am and be at the airport at 4 am!!!! Sien......

I'm going to miss Kuching very, very much. I'm missing it already. I'll miss my mum, Eric, my best friends - Joanne, Pony, YuLing, YanXi, Jiun, Yuting, Fun Joo...... my cousins, my room, my favourite places in Kuching, my piano, my baking oven, my recipe book......

When I was still in Senior 3, I always thoguht that I would NEVER get homesick. 'Cause I'm too practical for that. I thought that I'd be thrilled to get away from this town and try a new life outside the big, exciting world.

Suprisingly (even for me) , I'm SAD to be LEAVING. I can't bear to leave Kuching and my memories here. Now I understand what YuTing felt like a few weeks ago in UCSI. She messaged to me that she was really sad there. At that time, I didn't understand, just sympathised. Now I really feel it too.

Hasta la Vista everyone! I'll miss you all! Take care......

We get ready our wings (在一中求学、统考、etc) and take flight (念大学) to all corners of the sky (世界各地) away from our "nest"？Well ... ...

今天，玉婷“离巢”了。She's going to pursue Chemical Engineering in UCSI University.

Some of us from SS3A gathered at the airport to see her off. I think it was a good turn-out. 10 people or so. 玉婷 was very touched (I think) to see us. Hee-hee. We took a photo on her Mum's phone, and she sent it to 莹莹's phone.

Watching her check-in, I wonder: When will I take flight? Soon, this "nest" will be pretty empty with us all taking off. Yvonne has already left on January 3rd or 4th (so FAST) . I'm glad I got to see 玉婷 off. I hope we'll gather in our "nest" happily after flying about in the sky someday.

Today, I decided to check my mail. 705! Oh my god!

I've ignored it for two years now....... except when sending project documents or Animal Farm notes. Haha.....

Anyway, I was 杀-ing my Inbox when I came across an e-mail from my sis.

Ta-Da~~!!!!! This is the cover for my 纪念册!! My sis help me design de. Nice ler.... The "回忆" is made to look like it's formed from raindrops. She also added those purple strips and the 2008... >.<>SO! Those people out there who haven't fisnished writing my 纪念册, hurry up and finish it o!

I still have 15+ 纪念册 I haven't written myself, so I'm not in any position to say so, haha...... oh well... hehe XD

Back to School

Today we had to go back to school to get our 学年成绩单、毕业考成绩 and 毕业典礼彩排. My car wasn't working, so I car-pool-ed woth Pony.

We got there late.
I didn't think it was a big deal. Hey, we're just getting our results right? But OH MY GOD!!! All those people were sitting uniformly ad quietly in that 礼堂. Thankfully, the tachers didn't think being late wasn't a big deal and we sat down at some empty seats.

The teachers passed on some of their words of wisdom and reminders for when we step into society. After that, we broke up to receive our own results.

OK, now let me "hao lian" for a while. XD These are some of my achievements this year:

学年排名 >>> 第二名
毕业考排名 >>> 第四名（A等）
全校性英文作文 >>> 第一名
新南威尔斯英文程度比赛 >>> High Distinction

All in all, I'm satisfied. =)

After all that, I went to Pony's house to watch some movies. And we did a VERY 废 thing: We wanted KFC for lunch, and we drove to BOULEVARD's parking lot eventhugh it takes only three minutes to walk there from her house. Hey, 统考's over now, time to do some crazy stuff!

As Pony said, "久久一次做傻事！". XD

My many LASTs

Thinking it over, this exam has been many "LAST"s for me.

My friends and I always joke before every subject like "人生最后一次考国文作文！" "人生最后一次考华文作文！" "以后不再碰物理了！" "回家把电脑课本烧掉！" and the ever popular "死料啰，这次！" Haha... ... We did have a lot of fun together. During classes, during breaks, even during the terrible 毕业考 and 统考.

We'll never sit in the same classroom again.... We'll never do our lessons together again.... We'll never say "早安" to each other every morning again.... We'll never listen to 鸿聪老师 's crazy stories again.... We'll never see 宗亮 and 悦广 cracking jokes in class again.... We'll never witness 阿廖, 会端 and many others kacau 小嘉 again....

NOTE: The above-mentioned people, you should be honoured your names appeared in my precious blog space. haha... just joking...

It makes me sad to think that we can't do these things together again. I feel that these feelings are a way to harden our "wings" before we "take flight" into the "sky" (our universities or colleges). Hehe.... so best get over it.

finally, FinallY, FINALLY!!!

Last day of UEC! Yesh! Everyone was in a state of excitement today. And why not? It's the last day of our tortures! WAHAHAHAHAHA... I'm so happy!

Today we sat for 生物 (Biology) and 电脑与资讯工艺 (Computer and Information Technology). Nobody wanted to be the last out today. Hehe... everybody wanted to get their butts out of that hall as soon as possible. XD

生物 was VERY VERY hard lor~~ pek chek ar. 电脑 was quite okay gua... the objectives questions were quite easy. muahaha..... but 问答 need to "bai" ... 哈哈

During these six days, every subject seems like a looming omen. Now it's finally over. YAY! Well done and congratulations everybody, we survived!

We are the SURVIVORS!! muahahahahaha........ *maniacal laughter background*

Welcome to my blog!

UEC is finally over! I'd planned to open a blog after exams anyway, so it was the first thing I did when I got home (well, actually I had to unlock the front door and turn on the PC first........ =.=") OKAY, point is: I now officially have my own blog! Yay~~ XD

I picked this theme for my blog because it suits the "翅膀长硬了" "展开翅膀" "飞向梦想" "自由自在" sorta stuff. It represents our experiences after we graduate and step into the world. We're going to scatter across the globe and SOAR high.

Also, this blog will be my "一片天空", my personal space to write about my life and to connect with my friends back home.
